Serhat launched his hotel career at the age of 18 and shortly after discovered his enthusiasm for the industry. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's in Business, and he is a polyglot able to speak Turkish, English, Russian, and German.

Serhat has had the unique privilege of acquiring a diverse background in the hotel industry, working with a wide range of properties. His experiences span from serving as a Marketing Executive at the renowned New York Hilton Midtown to working in the suburbs of Pennsylvania on a more limited-service franchised hotel by InterContinental Hotels Group. Throughout his career, he has been honored to be involved in diverse segments of the hotel sector. His contributions have ranged from participating in the construction of new hotels, leading the pre-opening phase of hotels, steering brand transitions, to strengthening independent properties to effectively compete with well-established hotel brands.

In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his dogs, playing guitar, and exploring the great outdoors. Serhat is a Japanese Jujitsu practitioner and 32° Scottish Rite Freemason, a testament to his strong values and commitment to helping others.
